Our Story
Lesley and I met on JDate in November, 2005. On November 18th, 2005, Lesley flew from Toronto to New York to stay with me for the weekend. We attended a photography exhibit (”New Work, New York”) I both curated and participated in. After a great weekend together, we started to travel back and forth between Toronto and New York.
On July 21, 2006 my flight to Toronto was cancelled but this was a special weekend so I knew I had to get there. I ran to Port Authority and hopped a Greyhound bus to Toronto. When I arrived 10 1/2 hours later, I tried to get as much sleep as I could because the next morning, I proposed to Lesley. She said, “Yes!” and three months later we were wed.
This blog was created to keep family and friends updated on our immigration plans and travels. It’s been an adventure traveling back and forth to see one another, but we are both looking forward
