It’s hard to believe almost a month has passed between updates on the blog. Lesley and I had an amazing time in Florida. Aunt Sherril, Uncle Frank, and Charles, Tracey, and Anthony were amazing hosts! We had such a great time there and are already thinking about our next trip down. Uncle Frank renewed my palate for good wine and we were spoiled with excellent food throughout the week. Across the highway from Walt Disney World is a premium outlet and needless to say, Lesley and I stopped there a couple of times.
Next week Lesley and I will be heading to Puerto Vallarta for one night, then taking a boat to Verana for our belated honeymoon. We are very excited about the trip and look forward to a week in Mexico with fantastic weather.
In other news, I received a letter from the Canadian Consulate in NYC yesterday. I was found eligible to immigrate to Canada under the spousal sponsorship! They also requested a document be updated and I brought it into the office today. Upon our return from Mexico, I will be bringing my passport to the NYC office and a week later will have my permanent resident stamp! The timing will be great because the very next day, I plan on “landing” at Pearson Airport in Toronto where my permanent residency will be made official!
This will be a very exciting, yet busy, couple of weeks.
